Chapter 3: Pokémon battles aren't always easy At the very first route, Max was thinking of what to do, when suddenly a trainer came to him. "Hey you! Are you a Pokémon trainer? I really want to battle. Shall we?", said the trainer. Max agreed with the battle. They both had only one Pokémon, so it would be easy. "Alright. I choose…Meditite!" the trainer said. "You can't beat me! Go Treecko!" said Max. "Meditite, use Force Palm!" the trainer commanded to her Pokémon. Meditite ran over to Treecko and used a very powerful Force Palm attack. Treecko fell down, but could stand up again. "Now it's our turn! Use Bullet Seed!

Chapter 2: Mudkip, Treecko or Torchic? Max arrived at the laboratory of professor Birch. He was still so excited about the beginning of his journey that he didn't even think of which starter Pokémon he would take. When he entered the laboratory, he didn't see professor Birch anywhere. Professor Birch should know that Max would come over to the lab, so normally he should be waiting for him already. Max was really worried. What if something happened to professor Birch? Chapter 1: Finally 10 Somewhere in the Pokémon world, in Petalburg City to be exact, Max was in his bed. He couldn't sleep, because tomorrow would be a big day for him. He would finally get his first Pokémon and start his journey. Max was too excited to sleep. After a long time, he finally fell asleep. The next morning, Max woke up because of someone knocking the door of his room. He ran to the door and opened it. "May? Why did you knock on the door of my room?" he asked. "Well, there is something I should tell you. I know you're 10 years old now and you can finally be a Pokémon trainer, but I want to let you know that some j
